Just Because

Creeping, crawling out of the woodwork of a conversation
a kairos moment gently wandered in to say hello when I wasn't looking

It happened in mid-sentence
when the sparkle in your eye
introduced itself to the sparkle in mine
and the sound of words became mushy and jumbly
until they all melted into the air
rearranging the atmosphere
just for this moment
 
energy was ecstasy
nothing was everything
and everything was nothing.
Flowers were blooming all over the place
castles were forming in the sky
I dropped everything that I thought I knew
and let the power pour through me
flooding my body
arousing every molecule
pulsing through my veins
flowing like a river that cleanses at it moves.

Your sparkle scooped me up
as if someone opened the door to a massive storm
and I was swept away with it
spiraling up with a myriad of creative chaos
completely taken with the moment---
and then I was there
and then you were there
 
Intertwined in the eye of the storm
where thoughts come to a screeching halt
and all you can do is feel how amazing the feeling is
a ferocious wave of love
the essence of joy
a magic carpet ride flying into an orchestra
where the godess is the maestro
and we are the music
and the music is love
and the love is ...just because
